Why be supervised and accredited ?
Model fidelity & quality of practice
Attending training, reading articles and even diligent practice alone cannot guarantee fidelity to a model. Supervision is the lever that ensures the GLM is implemented with integrity.
Most practitioners wish to implement the GLM with integrity. Many have sought guidance on how to do so as effectively as possible. In some cases, practitioners have modified their practices into something they call the GLM, but which is not necessarily so.
Supervision and accreditation help guarantee the quality and consistency of your practice, obtain official recognition within the francophone and international GLM network, and benefit from ongoing support in your professional development.

How — Supervision modalities
Format & process
Applying the FID-GLM within a supervision framework requires expertise in GLM theory and practice. The supervisor is someone who practises and/or conducts research on the GLM, has participated in official training delivered by trainers listed on the international board, and is active in the international GLM network.
Individual supervision
Clinical supervision sessions with an accredited GLM supervisor — case analysis, fidelity assessment via the FID-GLM, targeted feedback on practice.
Team or service supervision
Support for a multidisciplinary team in integrating the GLM — collective analysis, harmonisation of practices, continuous improvement.
FID-GLM tool
Supervision sessions are based on the official GLM Fidelity Guide (FID-GLM), developed by Dr Erwan Dieu and the ARCA Criminology Service (on the basis of and with the agreement of Prescott, Willis & Ward). The ratings guide discussions and inform areas for development.

Implementing the GLM in your professional practice and building clinical cases to submit in supervision.
◉
Step 3 — Supervision with the FID-GLM
Regular supervision sessions with an accredited supervisor, fidelity assessment via the FID-GLM.
◉
Step 4 — Official Accreditation
Official recognition within the francophone GLM network, in connection with the international board.

Official training + supervision officielle + practice
Evidence of practice with a minimum of 5 individuals.
